CORE Magazine Print Ads
Sometimes your favorite work is the stuff that doesn’t make it to print. These spec print ads were developed for Epsilon’s magazine CORE. Since we were putting ads for our business in our own magazine, we were told we could pitch any direction we wanted. Me and an Art Director dove deep into concept and decided to go all over the place, including outer space and the back of a bus.
Butler Toyota
The folks at Butler Toyota had grown tired of their same old creative and were looking to freshen things up for their upcoming national sales event. The only problem was their spot needed to be trafficked in 3 days. We quickly came up and executed a fun visual idea that allowed us to get behind the meaning of the '1 for Everyone Sales Event.'
Brilliance Subaru
Brilliance Subaru found their platform of 'Nobody likes Subaru more than Kevin Keefe' long before I started copywriting. We contributed in the next installment of the campaign with a play on everyone's favorite rearview window family.
Red McCombs Automotive
Red McCombs is a San Antonio staple. The man practically owns the town. Just like many things in Texas, like football, for example, you're either with him or you're not. Our campaign wouldn't just put Red on the map, it would bring him back to the conversation. Using an old ranching term, this spec campaign communicated an important promise, a little swagger, and one simple message, to "Ride with Red."
